Adaptive, Flexible, Sleek

CUMULUS

Cumulus Internet of Things (IoT) device is designed to fill a gap in the industry, to provide a customisable device that can exactly meet the client’s needs and project requirements.

KEY FEATURES

Boasting flexible I/O Options

The Cumulus IoT boasts of a high I/O count for its physical size. Three IP rated connectors are provided to connect multiple Analog inputs and Bidirectional Digital inputs and outputs, both of which are expandable if required via I2C.
Cumulus comes with on-board peripherals that are essential for any IoT device, such as a 3-axis 16-Bit Accelerometer, a GPS receiver with fast boot time, and on-board temperature sensor.

Battery Management

Two Lithium Ion batteries are housed within the Cumulus enclosure, totalling 5200mA of capacity, which are closely monitored by an internal Fuel Gauge.

The battery status can be reported via cellular communications to the cloud. The batteries are charged via the USB-C connector, which can be fully charged in 3.5 hours from 0% to 100%.

Connectivity TO THE CLOUD

Cumulus allows cellular connectivity  in various forms, such as 4G, SMS, NB-IoT and LTE-M1. Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is also available for local wireless data transmission, whilst serial communications, such as I2C and USB is available for local wired requirements.

Cumulus IoT allows the ability to store and present data from the remote IoT device to a computer or smart phone, via a dashboard interface. Cumulus Server is secure and encrypted using the latest technology by Amazon Web Services (AWS). Cumulus can also be tailored to incorporate and communicate with any custom cloud-based storage and dashboard user interface.
